Drag Racing

Fellow Dragfools:

I got a call from my buddy that I race with. He attended a Highly advertised race at a local dragstrip and voiced great frustration with the program.

I have went thru this several times, but out of respect, I will not name the event or place, although I want to, but I will not.

I told Aron, drag racing can sometimes be a drag, hence any coralation to the name?

Look at the big boys, oil down, tire shake, bad tune up. The blaming game never works, although we may feel strongly on someone elese's mistake, the more you blame, the lower you go. How about this, look what you have learn from it, and what will you take to the next race? What a concept, huh?

I too have been a victum of such as well, but I feel the leason learned helps me get to the next level.

Anytime I have the chance to be in the car, run a 8 sec time, it is a rush. Ofcourse we all want to win, but it will come. Learn from mistakes, such as poor reaction times, or a tree guy not posting your No-delay and go from there. I have seen plenty of people be-little others, always take the hi road, even if it hurts, not only will you get the respect, you will be better the next race.

This may not apply to all, but just a thought, Aron.

Regards,

Christopher
